Decorate your Tree with Baubles!
Let’s make a ribbon first. Grab the Rectangle Toolonce more, and on the layer beneath your golden top, create a ribbon.

Enter Blending Options and add in our good friend Drop Shadow.

Select Satin and use these settings.

Finally selection Gradient Overlay. Use these settings. I’ve created a blue ribbon, but again, you can use any colour you want!

And these is your ribbon. Of course, this can be extended vertically upwards.

You can also make a hook instead of a ribbon. Grab the Ellipse Tool to make a circle (remember to hold down shift!). Make sure this is behind your golden top.

Once you have that created, right click that layer and Rasterize it. Next, grab your Selection Tool and click the layer while holding down Ctrl. This will select the entire circle.

Almost there. Now use Select < Modify < Contract.

Shrink the selection by 4-or-so pixels. Hit delete.

Copy the layer style from your gold top onto the newly created ring. You should end up with something like this.

And there is your other bauble!
